In a world overflowing with mass-produced fashion, where uniqueness is often a rare gem, there's a handbag that's about to sweep you off your feet. The La Rosa Crossbody Bag is not just an accessory; it's a story. Are you ready to embark on a journey that will make your heart skip a beat?
The Beginning: Planning the Bag
Initially, I wanted to create a bag that could be used daily and had enough room to carry all the daily essentials such as my purse, phone, car keys, lip balm and a few other small bits and bobs. However, I also wanted to have easy access to my debit card without having to dig through my purse for it! I knew I wanted the front panel to be quilted and include roses. I started looking at options for quilting designs for my embroidery machine and thus the front panel design was born. I knew it had to be a hands-free type of bag so I opted for a cross-body strap to allow for this.
The Beauty Lies in the Details: High-Quality Hardware and Materials
It's the little things that make all the difference. The La Rosa Crossbody Bag has a textured faux leather exterior that has a lovely soft feel. The interior is lined with a gorgeous custom-printed waterproof canvas featuring a red rose with silver accents. It's also adorned with high-quality metal hardware that not only adds a touch of sophistication but also ensures the bag's longevity. The La Rosa Crossbody Bag is not just an accessory; it's a unique handcrafted bag.
Functionality Meets Chic: Designed for Your Lifestyle
Every part of the La Rosa Crossbody Bag has been thought through to help make organising your bag easier. The exterior boasts a spacious slip pocket, ensuring your phone is always within reach. Open it up, and you'll find a treasure trove of organisation for such a compact bag - 8 card slots, a zippered pocket, and two slip pockets. The main compartment is generously sized, offering room for your essentials whilst securely embracing them with a double zipper main closure.
Rosa's Legacy: An Ode to Timeless Grace
What you won't know is that "Rosa" was my grandmother's middle name. Naming this bag after her is a tribute to the women who inspired, loved and encouraged me. Although I'm Welsh, my fathers, mother was a Brummie, who worked at the world-famous Cadbury factory in Bourneville, Birmingham. So there's another link with Roses and well it just seemed fitting!
Crafted by a Single Artisan
At the heart of Easterkins is Emma Easter (me). I work from a small solar-powered studio in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales. Each bag is lovingly cut by hand before being sewn by me. Each bag is made with a lot of love and the occasional swear word.
Each bag comes with its unique manufacturing code making each bag extra special.
